Rent terms and conditions

Booking process

We’re happy that you have chosen to book with us for your stay in the Dominican Republic. Please send us a booking request through our website on our reservations page. Once your request is submitted, we will contact you shortly after with a selection of cars available at your desired location for your chosen dates. You will then be free to select your car of choice for your stay.

Required documents

A few documents are required for your booking. You will need to share copies of:

• your original and valid driver’s license;
• a form of formal identification, such as a state/country identity card or passport.

Signing a contract

Once your driver’s license has been received and approved, we will send you a contract to sign that details the conditions of your rental. You will be given the option to list an additional driver to the contract at no extra charge.

Deposit

A $ 200 deposit fee is required at the signing of your rental contract. This $ 200 deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental period once your car is returned (drop-off).

Door-to-door car delivery

We offer free door-to-door delivery! We will deliver your car directly to your address of choice for renters who begin and end their rental period within Bavaro.

Car insurance

The rental price includes standard insurance — it covers the damage to third parties. That is you are only responsible for the rented car.

What's included in the price?

Renting with Rent Point means that you won’t run into any hidden fees. The total price of your car rental includes all taxes and fees. Your rental also includes standard insurance, car cleaning and unlimited mileage.

Customers are offered free cancellation or changes to most bookings up to 24 hours before your rental pick-up. We also offer free door-to-door delivery within Bavaro.

Payment options

We cater to the unique needs of our customers. This is why we offer multiple payment options that include credit/debit cards, cash (at pick-up of your rental), or cryptocurrency.
